As educators, we see the need for our students to
have the knowledge and competence to compete in an
increasingly technology-driven world economy.
Chatham Academy strives to embrace new models of
education facilitated by educational technology.
Our students will be evaluated annually by
using performance indicators for each grade level
that will measure the following goals: basic
technology operations; responsible and ethical use;
effective and creative communications; thinking,
learning, and producing; research, problem-solving,
decision-making.
The use of technology
is an integral part of our curriculum at Chatham
Academy. Our low teacher-student ratio (1:10) makes
it possible for teachers to pick and choose the
specific technology needed by each student to enable
them to achieve their academic potential. |
